A collection of original beats, loops, breaks, and musical ideas recorded straight to cassette by Musical Guest.

Made during late-night studio sessions with drum machines, keyboards, samplers, old records, and whatever else happened to be within reach. Some are polished. Some are rough. Some are only a few bars long. That’s the point.

These tapes were made for producers, musicians, DJs, and anyone looking for something interesting to chop up, slow down, sample, or build on.

Each cassette is individually dubbed and includes a different selection of material from the Musical Guest archive.
